MAKING THE STAGE AND SCREEN AS COLORFUL AND DIVERSE AS THOSE AROUND ME
ABOUT
Gianbari Debora Deebom (She/They) is a lifetime learner of her craft. An artist who is constantly searching for whatever shot or script catches her eye and moves her heart.

Gianbari was born in Comé, Benin, Africa, and immigrated to Tucson, Arizona before the age of 2. From a very young age, she found herself consumed by musical artists like Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, and Bob Marley. Lighting a fire for movement and song and the need to share and entertain those who had no choice but to stop and stare.

With a thirst to entertain, Gianbari has spent most of her younger years in school choirs taking advantage of all the art and music classes available to her. In high school, she finally got a taste of the stage in musicals and straight plays. She learned to work on and off the stage and learned to absorb the skills and talents of those around her, preparing her for bigger and greater things.
She continues to grab at every opportunity in her path to this day.

Today, Gianbari is working professionally on and off the stages of many Tucson and Valley theaters, all the while attending Arizona State University for a Bachelor in Theatre (acting concentration). She achieved her AFA in Theater in May of 2020 and plans to get her Master's in the coming years.
My goal in my art is to collaborate with others and create thought-provoking pieces that rock the soul or at least inspire new thoughts.
